Join us as we explore Celtic Saints of 500 A.D. to 700 A.D., focusing on Columba, Aidan, Hilda, Cuthbert, Brigid, and Ninian of Galloway. Learn from Canon Stephen Schaitberger how the Celtic Church of this time impacted our own lives through its virtues and its weaknesses. Topics will include living together with differences, inclusivity, the missionizing of young Christian cultures, respect for other religions and religious traditions, and the importance of art in spreading Christianity. Canon Schaitberger will lead the group through a bible study method known as gospel-based discipleship, popularized by the African Church and utilized in Minnesota, where he was raised.
Please join us for a soup dinner before each study.
